Terms of Use & PRivacy Policy

This Terms of Use Agreement (the "Agreement") governs the use of this website (the "Site"), including all communications sent to us via the Site. "You" refers to any person or entity that accesses or uses (“visits”) the Site or chooses to contact us following or as a result of a visit to the Site. Your access to or use of the Site shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the Agreement.  For the avoidance of doubt, this Agreement does not apply to any interactions or relationship that may exist or be established between any members of the legal team described above or their law firms (the “Legal Team”) on the one hand and a client of any of them on the other hand. Such client representations are governed by separate agreements.

We may modify this Agreement at any time, and such modification shall be effective 30 days after posting of the modified Agreement. Your access to or use of the Site after any modifications have become effective shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the modified Agreement.

I. No Attorney-Client Relationship Created

The Site is not intended to be a source of advertising, solicitation, or legal advice. Display of material on the Site is not intended to create, and receipt does not establish, an attorney-client relationship. This information is not intended to substitute for obtaining legal advice from an attorney. The sending of an e-mail message to press@theopioidcrisis.com, and any subsequent communications, does not create an attorney-client relationship or contractually obligate the Legal Team to represent you as your attorney. Members of the Legal Team cannot and will not serve as your counsel in any matter unless you and they expressly agree, in writing, that they will serve as your attorney. No person should act or rely on any information in the Site without seeking the advice of an attorney.

You should not consider this information to be an invitation for an attorney-client relationship or rely on information provided herein. The determination of the need for legal services and the choice of a lawyer are extremely important decisions, and all who seek legal services are urged to make their own independent investigation and evaluation of any lawyer being considered.

The Legal Team does not wish to represent anyone desiring representation based upon viewing the Site in a state where the Site fails to comply with all laws and ethical rules of that state.

We hereby grant you the right to view and use the Site subject to this Agreement, subject to all of the terms of this Agreement. Media organizations may download or print a copy of information provided in the Site for use in their reporting.  Otherwise, visitors to the Site may download or print a copy of information provided in the Site for their personal, non-commercial use only, provided that such information may not be modified and is appropriately credited to us. Permission to reprint or electronically reproduce any document or graphic in whole or in part for any other purpose is expressly prohibited, unless prior written consent is obtained from the respective copyright holder(s). You may contact us at the email address set forth above.
